I timed myself with a stopwatch and had my 83L case locked onto the rack base plate in just over four seconds. The quick-release lever is smooth and doesn't require any wrestling, even with gloves on. This is exactly what I needed for hauling gear on rough trails.

Clicked my case into the base plate on the roof rack and it locked up solid, no wobble at all on the highway. Popping it off takes one hand and about three seconds, which is way easier than the bolt-on setup I had before. The universal plate lined up with my existing crossbars without any drilling.
